Melissa will explain what cultural appropriation in quilting is and how to distinguish it from appreciation. She will walk us through a detailed explanation about how to think about culture in design, best uses, how to appreciate and be inspired responsibly and how to build a quilt community that is more just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive.
