Thistles, Cogs and Caterpillar Wheels | Jenny Haynes
Saturday, March 19th | 9AM – 1:30PM (held over Zoom)

In this class Jenny will show you how to make a block she created for the Modern Times Quilt – the classic New York Beauty block, but with a twist. You will learn how the different blocks are designed and put together, the way the different parts can be shifted and moved to change the look of the block.
You will sew no-pin machine-pieced curves in three sizes while playing with Jenny’s Drunkard’s Path template, a tool that makes precise blocks that are easy to piece together.
Jenny will also cover all the stages of Foundation Paper Piecing using freezer paper – how to prep the paper, what stitch length to use, how best to put the block together and more.
The techniques learned will give you knowledge and freedom to design your own version of the Modern Times Quilt.
This class is suitable for newbie quilters and experienced quilters alike.
