What makes a quilt block modern?
A series of 9 monthly prompts will explore ways to make a favorite traditional block modern.
- You choose a traditional block design.
- I’ll provide a prompt, a few hints/inspirations if you’re stymied & an “Easy Button” to lend a helping hand.
- 3rd Wednesday of each month, 7:00 pm
- Active Slack channel for sharing progress, inspiration, questions…
We’ll explore grids in quilt design – something to think about as we work on each month’s prompt.
We’ll get a “bonus” modern prompt (that you probably already know) to get those piecing juices flowing.
We’ll get a little “things to think about” homework assignment to prepare for our first monthly prompt meeting (February 18, 7:00 pm)
