Alternative Gridwork and Negative Space

Amy’s trunk show will help define alternate gridwork and negative space, two principles of modern quilting.

Erika is the owner of Little Glass Quilts where she makes stained glass panels based off traditional quilt block designs.

Brooke founded Eudaimonia Studio, to join her passions for philosophy and modern quilting. Having picked up sewing in 2016, she was quickly captivated by the many steps of the quilting process, and soon after began creating her own designs.

Timna’s work is about color and small compositions. Each block in a quilt is made as its own element, independent of the other blocks. What keeps her engaged is watching how the project changes and transforms with the addition of each color and texture.

Carl began with simple traditional quilt patterns and then began to create more complex abstract and improvisational work utilizing his own designs.
